Cat Carol received her BFA in Painting + Drawing from Ohio University in 2025. She is an M.Ed candidate at Ohio University and plans to become a full time art educator.
During her undergraduate studies, she worked in multiple museums, galleries, and libraries, and interned at the Corridoio Fiorentino gallery in Florence, Italy. Her time in Florence, as well as her continued interest in art history, informs her practice.
Carol's work primarily consists of oil paintings, driven by her interest in the human figure. Her work explores human intimacy through a feminist lens. Viewers are encouraged to connect to and be challenged by her uncompromising dedication to vulnerability.
